What are your products made of?

Our products are made from 100% high-quality food grade silicone, free from BPA and any other nasties! It is perfect for food contact as its non-porous, resistant to mould growth and allergy friendly.

How do I clean my silicone products?

Silicone is so easy to clean. Simply wash with warm soapy water or pop it in the dishwasher (top rack). 

Some pureed foods such as carrots and pumpkin can create an oily residue on the silicone that may take a couple of washes to come off. For those stubborn stains, we recommend soaking in hot soapy water. Alternatively, we suggest trying a bit of baking soda or lemon juice. 

Can I put my silicone dinnerware in the microwave or oven?

Yes, all of our dinnerware products are safe to use in the microwave or in the oven up to 220 degrees. 

How do I achieve the best suction with my bowl and plate?

To ensure good suction, make sure base of bowl and surface is clean & dry. Press down firmly in centre of bowl with finger or spoon. To release, simply lift the tab on base.

What surfaces will my bowl or plate suction to?

Suction works best on smooth & non-porous surfaces. Surfaces that are textured, slightly curved or porous will make it difficult to achieve suction. 

Silicone suction based products are not recommended for the Stokke Tripp Trapp high chair tray as effective suction is unlikely to be achieved. 

Why does my bowl have a slightly soapy smell after being cleaned?

Sometimes the silicone can take on residue from a meal or a dishwashing soap that contains oils, antibacterial agents or moisturisers. These oils can sometimes stick to the silicone material and cause a soapy smell or taste. To remove the oil you can try a baking soda or white vinegar soak overnight. Wiping with lemon juice, or even placing your bowl/plate in boiling water can also help. All our products are made from food grade silicone that is non-porous and therefore cannot absorb flavours and will not give out a chemical taste.
